May Craft-day Highlights

Our May craft day was a lot of fun. For one of our neighbors it was her first time attending a craft day. She is new to SoCe, so it was a good opportunity for her to connect with other women on our street. One of our Board members also came and brought delicious brownies - which were enjoyed by the women at the craft day and by other friends on our street!

Our project this month was glass candle holders "mod podged" with colored tissue paper to create a stained glass effect. Kristin was our facilitator. We had so much fun and so many creative ideas, that we made a few extra candle holders to give as gifts to neighbors who were unable to attend. We even made a fish bowl themed candle holder as a house-warming gift for a neighbor who recently moved.

Look closely and you'll notice a "fish" swimming in this bowl!
