Immersion Insight

This week we are hosting two students from Southwestern College. We've been discussing (and working on) spiritual formation, intentional community and neighborhood work (asset based community development). Today one of our neighbors and friends led a workshop on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. It was POWERFUL and helpful! 

One great chunk of wisdom was "HOW" the steps work:

• H (honesty)
• O (open-mindedness)
• W (willingness) 

When we bring these qualities to face our struggles (addiction or otherwise) it is deeply transformative!
