Gifts Received
/Because we are in the season of gift giving this quote caught my eye…

I know I struggle to receive gifts from my neighbors. I think this is driven by my need to keep up an illusion of self-sufficiency, as well as a fear of being indebted to someone. But, of course, I’m not fully self-sufficient, and gifts that are given don’t result in debt; they result in wholeness.
So, here’s to receiving the gifts of others, asking for help, and living in an abundant community!
