Folk and Fun Last Sunday

Last Sunday morning Adam was invited to preach at DeSoto United Methodist Church, near Lawrence, KS. Rev. Jeff Prothro has been doing a very cool sermon series on music and spirituality. He invited us to come and share a folk music sermon! Adam had the great idea to do a series of songs that help illustrate the four characteristics of a movement. The Neighboring Movement is no exception, we see these for characteristics:
- Simple--anyone can do it
- Do-able--there is action involved
- Universal--it transcends groups
- Relational--it moves person-to-person
It was so much fun to share about the neighboring movement and to sing a few of our favorite folk songs. Thanks Jeff and DeSoto for the invitation and hospitality!
