With cold weather comes Garden Box Covers!

Jackie installed these windows herself! The hinges allow her to open the box when it gets too warm, and close it when it gets cold. Isn't that fantastic?

This last weekend we had our first hard freeze in Kansas. To prepare, several Garden Boxes that have veggies growing in them were covered with windows salvaged by our neighbor, Tom. The results are pretty cool!
