We gathered for our August Inspiration Night last week. After sharing a potluck meal, we created a puzzle together as a way to reflect on our own and each other's giftedness. Each person decorated a puzzle piece to depict a talent or skill they have. Meanwhile, we passed around a puzzle piece for each person. Neighbors were invited to write down one gift they see in each person. It was beautiful to see all the good things neighbors have observed in each other.

I love the symbol of the puzzle and how the pieces fit together - how we are all connected and need each other. Each of our gifts have value - whether they are skills like lawn mowing or qualities such as playfulness or being a good listener.
