Professor Food (aka Mark) Reviews: The Doo-Dah Diner

Matt (left) and Mark (right) in front of the Doo-Dah Diner. Mark apparently cracked a joke right before the picture, so Matt got caught laughing.

Here’s my first diner review.

Today we ate breakfast at the Doo Dah Diner. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak & eggs ($10.99). Matt had the Tanya’s Benny (English muffin topped with maple pepper bacon, avocado, poached eggs, and homemade Hollandaise sauce for $9.99). Catherine had skillet green beans ($2.99) and hash browns ($1.99).

Our waitress, Robin, had a great sense of humor and all the qualities you would look for in a waitress. I would recommend the Doo Dah Diner. All their items are homemade - including the Hollandaise sauce, pancake syrup, and biscuits.

I would rate the Doo Dah Diner at a big “thumbs up” for breakfast and lunch. My only disappointment was that the Diner is not open later - I would like to see them open for dinner - especially since a couple of our SoCe restaurants have closed recently.
